No Response Is Also A Response

No Response Is Also A Response

We’re all familiar with the situation when we get no response, right? That’s the response that we don’t actually get but that in effect means no. A clear, powerful, telling response. The most hurtful and damaging kind of response.

In fact, silence carries so much weight. Having no response may seem like it’s harmless – but it’s sending you a compelling message. And that’s not something that you can ignore.

No Response In Relationship

Just because you’re not getting a response doesn’t mean that a message isn’t being sent to you. Not getting a response is still a response. In a lot of different cases, it’s a sign of things that have taken a turn for the worse.

When a person greets you with silence, it means that that person doesn’t think you are worthy of a reply. It means that that person doesn’t want to waste their breath on you. It means that they no longer wish to engage in any conversation with you.

 1. People Who Are Actually Interested Will Make Time For You.

Everyone’s busy, but if your partner actually cares, they’ll do whatever it takes to be in your life. That means they won’t leave you hanging on a text. They’ll text back because they actually want to talk to you. Seeing your name light up their phone will make them happy, not annoyed, and they’ll be more than happy to shoot over a few words to keep the conversation going.

2. Texting Someone Back Takes Less Than A Minute.

Some people act like texting is such a huge hassle and asking too much, but look at the reality of that thought process. Your phone alerts you when you get a message and that notification doesn’t go away until you check the message. Even if they don’t have time at the moment, it’s not like they can just forget that red bubble staring them in the face. When they do open the message, texting back usually takes less than a minute.

3. You Deserve Better Than Mixed Signals.

If you have to constantly decipher their texts or lack thereof to figure out if they like you then they’re just not worth it. If they’re not on their texting game with you, take the loss and move on. Don’t keep going after a person who’s clearly not feeling it. Your heart might want something to happen, but listen to your head and don’t be desperate. Deep down, you know the meaning of an unanswered message.

4. A Person Who Really Likes You Will Be Happy To Hear From You.

They’ll also be more than happy to text back. They won’t see texting as something they have to do but something they actually want to do. They’re interested in you and that’s why they want to keep the relationship flowing. If they don’t bother sending a reply, they’re already stopped that flow and the “relationship” is headed straight to nowhere.

5. There’s A Difference Between A Random Occurrence And A Habit.

If they miss a message or forget to text back one time, it’s no big deal, but if they’re constantly leaving you waiting on a reply for days at a time, it’s pretty damn clear they’re not interested. They’re not answering (or at least not answering quickly enough) because you’re not on their mind. They text you when it’s convenient for them, which is most likely when they’re horny or bored.

6. If They Want A Relationship, They’ll Make An Effort.

If They’re not willing to do the work or put in the time, it means that you’re just not important to them. Do you really want to go after a person who doesn’t see you as a priority in his or her life? If you’re doing all the work and they never even meet you in the middle, you’re just going to end up exhausted and unsatisfied. Remember – people who have a real interest know how to make an effort.

7. Some People Aren’t The Best At Expressing Their Feelings.

So when they aren’t texting back consistently, they’re trying to give you a clue. Sure, it would be nice if they had a little more respect for you and just told you openly that they’re not that into you, but alas, that seems to be asking too much. So a lot of people do what they do best – avoid the problem and hope it will eventually go away when you get the hint.

8. If They’re Not Pursuing You, It’s Time To Stop Pursuing Them.

People who are interested text back. Those who aren’t don’t. Don’t bother trying to change their mind. You need to have the confidence to realize that if they don’t see how great you are, it’s their loss. Let go of them and move on to someone who will be excited to have you in their life. You can’t fight for a person who’s not fighting for you. At the end of the day, you just have to accept that no message is a message – that’s their way of telling you they’re just not interested.

No Response Is Also A Response – How To Deal With It

No Response Is Also A Response

Of course, you can also make the argument that silence can mean so many things. And you’re right. But in the end, you’re going to have to face the truth. A person who loves you is someone who is never going to give you silence. A person who loves you is never going to leave you hanging. They know that no response is a response, just like everyone else who cares about your feelings.

A person who loves you is always going to warrant you with a response. So when it feels like all of your efforts are falling on deaf ears, then you probably know what’s going on. You hear the message loud and clear.

Love doesn’t exist anymore. Because love is always going to warrant some response. Love is never silent. It is never subtle. Love is never something that you’re going to have to force out of a person. When your attempts to love someone aren’t reciprocated. When the receptacle of your love is unresponsive, then you know that that’s telling you what you need to hear, even though it’s not what you wanted.

Silence speaks louder. Silence can also be able to convey the most powerful words. You have to listen to that silence carefully and then analyze the entire situation. We hope that you will get your understanding about no response is also a response.
