Kristin Austin – Stone Cold Steve Austin
Also known as The Texas Rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin has had three failed marriages and a host of other relationships. However, the wrestler, actor and television host found his soulmate in fourth wife Kristin Feres. The couple have two homes together, one in Tilden, Texas, and the other in Marina Del Rey, California.
Lana – Rusev
Lana and Rusev are one of many couples that work together in the World Wrestling Entertainment federation. Lana, whose real name is Catherine Perry, is the manager for her Bulgarian husband, wrestler Rusev. However, Lana also has a reputation as a talented wrestler, and despite her thick European accent in the ring, is actually as American as apple pie – her thick accent is just part of her on-stage act! The wrestler turned manager took part in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match.
Laurel Van Ness – Zack Ryder
Another female wrestler, Canadian Laurel Van Ness is part of the Global Force Wrestling organization. Born Chelsea Anne Green, Van Ness is currently signed to WWE and was an Impact Knockouts Champion. Van Ness has been with fellow professional wrestler Zack Ryder since 2016. Ryder, whose real name is Matthew Brett Cardona, is part of the WWE Smackdown! roster. He is a one-time US Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, and a two-time WWE Tag Team Champion. Seriously, this is one tough couple!
Kim Marie Kessler – Randy Orton
Born Randal Keith Orton in Knoxville Tennessee, wrestler Randy Orton is part of a wrestling dynasty. Orton is a third-generation wrestler, as his grandfather, father and uncle were all professional wrestlers. He met second wife Kim Marie Kessler in 2014 and took her on a date to the WWE Hall of Fame Induction. Kessler was actually a member of Orton’s fan club before they met, so their relationship must be a dream come true. Orton proposed in 2016, and the pair have a daughter called Brooklyn Rose.
Rebecca Curci – Shawn Michaels
Best known for her work as a Nitro Girl, Rebecca Curci is a talented wrestler, just like her husband Shawn Michaels. Michaels was born Michael Shawn Hickenbottom, and is considered one of the all-time pro-wrestling greats. Known as ‘Mr Wrestlemania’, and ‘The Heartbreak Kid’, Michaels wrestled until his first retirement in 1998. The pair tied the knot in an Elvis themed Vegas wedding in 1999. They have two children together, a son called Cameron Kade, and a daughter called Cheyenne.
Brandi Rhodes – Cody Rhodes
Brandi Rhodes is also known as Eden Stiles when she’s working as a WWE interviewer and ring announcer. Rhodes pursued a career in broadcast journalism and worked her way from news reporter to anchor. It was when she was working as an announcer for the WWE, that she first met partner Cody Rhodes. Wrestler Rhodes is the son of WWE pro Dusty Rhodes and a two time Intercontinental Champion. The couple got married in 2013, and have been living happily ever after since.
Marissa Mazzola – Shane McMahon
Shane McMahon is a WWE power player. He’s the Executive Vice President for WWE Global Media, and the son of CEO Vince McMahon. Shane and Marissa have one of the longest marriages on this list, as they’ve been together since high school. These childhood sweethearts got married in 1996 and live together with their family in New York City. McMahon and Mazzola have three sons, who can often be seen in the crowd watching their dad fight.
Karina Steen – Kevin Owens
NXT champion Kevin Owens stomped all over opponent John Cena’s belt, and slammed the wrestling superstar to the ground. Real name Kevin Steen, Canadian wrestler Owens’ win over Cena put him on the map. Karina and Kevin have a son together who has already made his debut in the WWE. Son Owen appeared in a segment in 2008 when he was just six months old. They pair also have a daughter called Élodie Leila.
Maria Kanellis – Mike Bennett
Professional wrestler Maria Kanellis knows wrestling like the back of her hand. A former WWE Diva, and 24/7 Champion, Maria has also appeared on the Celebrity Apprentice. Arguably the more popular of the pair, Maria now works as her husband’s manager. The couple started dating in 2011, got engaged in 2012, and were married in 2014. They have two children together, a daughter named Fredrica Moon Bennett, and a son named Carver Mars Bennett.
Nattie Neidhart – Tyson Kidd
Also a star on WWE’s Total Divas, Nattie Neidhart – real name Natalya – is WWE ratings gold. The Canadian wrestler is a two time Women’s WWE Champion and a third generation wrestler. Neidhart has known fellow Canadian wrestler Tyson Kidd since she was only twelve years old, and the pair tied the knot in June 2013. You can watch their wedding on the first season of Total Divas. Maryse Ouellet – The Miz
Another Canadian professional wrestler, Maryse Ouellet married Michael Gregory Mizanin, aka The Miz in 2014. The pair got hitched in the Bahamas and welcomed their first child, daughter Monroe Sky Mizanin in 2018, and their second, daughter Madison Jade Mizanin in 2019. The couple share their relationship with fans on social media, and have amassed thousands of followers on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Maryse retired as a WWE Diva in 2011, and now cheers on her husband ringside.
Beth Phoenix – Edge
In her prime, Beth Phoenix was one of the most acclaimed and celebrated female wrestlers of all time. She won the WWE Divas Championship, three WWE Women’s Championships, and was the youngest ever person to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Seriously, that’s impressive! Phoenix married Canadian professional wrestler The Edge – real name Adam Joseph Copeland – in 2016. The couple welcomed their two daughters, Lyric Rose Copeland, and Ruby Ever Copeland in 2013 and 2016 respectively.
AJ Lee – CM Punk
This unstoppable duo share more than just wrestling as a common interest. As well as being a professional wrestler from 2007 to 2015, April Mendez, aka AJ Lee is also an author. Likewise, retired professional wrestler and MMA fighter CM Punk – real name Phillip Jack Brooks – spends his time writing comic books. This wrestling power couple got married in 2014, and hopefully will spend many more happy years together.
Reby Sky – Matt Hardy
Of course, wrestler Matt Hardy is best known for his role in The Tag Team ‘The Hardy Boys’ along with his brother Jeff. After Hardy broke up with WWE Diva Lita, he moved on with professional wrestler Reby Sky. Born Rebecca Victoria Reyes, Sky is best known for her appearances on Total Nonstop Action Wrestling between 2014 and 2017. Sky and Hardy got married in 2013, and have three sons called Maxel, Wolfgang Xander, and Bartholomew Kit.
Lauryn Laine McBride – Jerry “The King” Lawler
Famous wrestling commentator and semi-retired professional wrestler Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler had three failed marriages before he met Lauryn Laine McBride. This relationship isn’t without its drama, as both Lawler and McBride have been arrested with charges of domestic abuse against one another. There is a significant age gap between the two, and they haven’t tied the knot yet, so let’s just keep an eye out for where this wrestling relationship ends up.
Jackie Gayda-Haas – Charlie Haas
Professional wrestler Charlie Haas married fellow wrestling pro Jackie Gayda-Haas in 2005. Gayda-Hass was known for her work in the WWE, and also appeared on reality series ‘Tough Enough’. Together the couple have four children – Kayla, Taylor, Thomas and Charles. The pair took a step back from wrestling in 2008 and opened their own nutrition store in Texas. The store, called Custom Muscle Nutrition and Smoothie store offers custom mixes so anyone can build the impressive body of a pro wrestler.
Lauren Hashian – The Rock
A Hollywood celebrity in his own right, The Rock has been married more than once. Born Dwayne Johnson, The Rock made his name in the WWE before pursuing an acting career. Today, The Rock is one of the highest grossing box office stars of all time. Johnson met his second wife on set while filming ‘The Game Plan’ and the pair got hitched in Hawaii in 2019. Hashian was already familiar with the spotlight before meeting The Rock, because her dad is the drummer for legendary rock band Boston. The pair have two children together.
Sarah Bäckman – Bo Dallas
Sarah Bäckman is a seriously impressive woman. Not only is she a former professional wrestler, but an eight time World Arm Wrestling Champion! Bäckman appeared on WWE’s NXT between 2013 and 2014 but never hit the big time in wrestling. The arm wrestling champ married Taylor Rotunda, aka Bo Dallas in June 2014. Dallas is another third-generation wrestler, and winner of the Raw Tag Team Championship. These two spend hours in the gym to maintain their impressive physiques, and who can blame them?
Nikki Bella – John Cena
Everyone knows wrestling superstar John Cena, who started off as a bodybuilder and has branched out into the world of TV and film. The five time United States Champion is tied with Ric Flair for the most world champions in WWE history. This man is wrestling royalty. Cena proposed to his second wife Nikki Bella, also a professional wrestler, at Wrestlemania 33 in 2017. One half of The Bella Twins, Nikki is a two-time WWE Divas Champion. Sadly, the pair ended their relationship before they tied the knot.
Karen Jarrett – Jeff Jarrett
Karen Smedley was initially married to wrestler Kurt Angle, but the pair split up in 2008. Two years later, Smedley married GFW founder Jeff Jarrett and now she performs in the ring with his surname. Karen started off as an exotic dancer, before working as a professional wrestling valet and personality. She has two children from her marriage with Kurt Angle. Initially rumours flew about the timing of this relationship, with some claiming it started when Karen was still with Kurt. Well, it wouldn’t be WWE without the drama.
Kori Campfield – Kofi Kingston
Ghanian-American wrestler Kofi Kingston is best known for making Royal Rumble saves. If you throw this wrestler out of the ring, you can guarantee he’ll bounce right back. Born Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah, Kingston is the first African-born WWE world champion, and has been a heroic character for most of his wrestling career. Kingston married Kori Campfield in 2010 and the pair have two sons together. Son Khi was born in 2013, and son Orion joined the family in 2016. The Sarkodie-Mensahs live in Tampa, Florida.
Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman – Booker T
Since marrying each other, this powerful wrestling couple call themselves King Booker and Queen Sharmell. In the words of King Booker, ‘Can you dig it sucker?’ The most decorated wrestler in WWE history, Booker T has been described as one of the best wrestlers alive today. Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman is Booker T’s second wife, and the pair got married in 2005 after five years together. They welcomed twins in 2010, a boy named Kendrick, and a girl named Kennedy. Truly, a royal wrestling family.
Giovanna Yannotti – Kurt Angle
All wrestling fans know this superstar, who was a serious athlete before he started wrestling professionally. Kurt Angle – born Steven – is a gold medal Olympian after winning the freestyle wrestling gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics. As we’ve seen, Angle’s first marriage ended when his wife left him for fellow wrestler Jeff Jarret. However, Angle married the gorgeous Giovanna Yannotti in 2012 and the couple have four children together – three daughters, and one adopted son.
Stephanie McMahon – Triple H
Stephanie McMahon is the daughter of WWE Chairman Vincent McMahon, and part of a serious wrestling dynasty. McMahon is the chief brand officer for WWE, and a wrestling personality herself. During a romantic storyline for WWE, McMahon fell for Paul Michael Levesque, also known as Hunter Hurst Helmsley, and best known as Triple H. Their scripted romance turned real and the couple got married in 2003. The pair have three daughters called Aurora Rose, Murphy Claire, and Vaughn Evelyn.
Sasha Banks – Sarath Ton
Superstar Sasha Banks is a legendary female wrestler with a superstar family to boot. Banks – real name Mercedes Justine Kaestner-Varnado – is cousins with rapper Snoop Dog, and singers Brandy and Ray-J. Banks cinched the RAW Women’s Championship and even won the iconic Superslam within a week of her wedding. Banks’s partner is retired professional wrestler and WWE costume designer Sarath Ton, who is also known by his stage name, Kid Mikaze.
Tracy James – Road Dogg
Along with Sean Michaels, Triple H, X-Pac and the late Chyna, Road Dogg was a member of D Generation X. A Georgia native, Road Dogg teamed up with Billy Gun to make The New Age Outlawz, and took home the WWF World Tag Team Championship five times. Viewed as one of the best, Road Dogg – real name Brian Gerard James – has certainly made his mark in the wrestling world. Road Dogg is married to Tracy James and the couple have one son and two daughters.
Jess Watson – Xavier Woods
Along with Kofi Kingston and Big E, Xavier Woods is part of The New Day, who are six time SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Woods, real name Austin Xavier Watson, has impressed WWE fans with his strong body slams and fast moves. Not just an athlete, Woods has two bachelor degrees and a master’s degree, and is working towards his PhD. Woods married wife Jess Watson in 2015 and the couple became parents to a baby boy in 2017.
Pamela Killings – R-Truth
R-Truth’s real name is Ronnie Aaron Killings, which is an excellent ready-made wrestling name. R-Truth has been on and off in WWE since the Attitude Era but returned officially in 2008. The wrestler won the WWE Tag Team Championship with Kofi Kingston, and the WWE United States Championship. He currently holds the record for the most reigns at age 35. R-Truth married Pamela in 2011 and the couple had a daughter together in 2014.
Becky Lynch – Seth Rollins
Rebecca Quin, better known as Becky Lynch is an Irish professional wrestler. Dubbed ‘The Man’, Lynch plays an aggressive underdog character which has won her huge fan support. During WrestleMania 25 in 2019. Lynch won both the Raw Women’s Championship and SmackDown Women’s Championship. This success turned her into a double champion, a four-time women’s champion in WWE, and the only woman to hold both titles at once. Lynch got engaged to fellow wrestler Seth Rollins in 2019, and the pair are expecting their first child together.
Ta-Rel Roche – Goldust
Another fan of some serious face-paint, Dustin Runnels, aka Goldust, is an eccentric professional wrestler. With his black and gold face and flamboyant persona, Goldust is best known for his time with WWE from 1995. Goldust was famously married to WWE personality Teri Runnels back in the 90s, but their relationship didn’t stand the test of time. In his autobiography, Runnels admitted to a second marriage, this time with Milena Martelloni, but it only lasted one year. The wrestler married Ta-Rel Marie Roche in 2012.
Charlotte Flair – Andrade
Born Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr, Charlotte Flair is a second generation professional wrestler. Her dad is none other than wrestling icon Ric Flair. Charlotte hasn’t just followed in her famous father’s wrestling career, but, like her dad, has had more than one marriage. She had a tumultuous relationship with Riki Johnson, a two year marriage to Thomas Latimer, and is currently engaged to fellow WWE star Manuel Oropeza, known as Andrade. Flair has been arrested following a fight involving her boyfriend and father back in 2008.
Veronica Rodriguez – Finn Balor
The world of wrestling has seen its fair share of Irish wrestlers, but Finn Balor might just be the craziest one of all. Born Fergal Devitt, Finn Balor became the quickest wrestler in WWE history to win a world title, taking only 27 days following his main roster debut. Balor is a big fan of face and body paint, which he uses as a tribute to his favorite comic book characters. The Irish wrestler got married to Fox Sports presenter Veronica Rodriguez in 2019.
Bess Katramados – Big Show
Born Paul Donald Wight, Big Show is also known as The Giant, thanks to his 7ft tall stature. Big Show started wrestling in the early 90s, and is a seven time world champion. Also familiar with the world of TV and film, Big Show has featured in Jingle All The Way and Star Trek. The wrestler was first married in 1997 but divorced in 2002. Also in 2002 he married second wife Bess Katramados. The pair have two children together, and a daughter from Wight’s previous relationship.
